The Tarte Greatest Glitz Collector’s Set & Portable palettes ($49) is exclusively at Ulta. The packaging is awesome! It comes with a decent size mirror and 3 thin palettes, which are great for traveling. This set also includes a deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara and a deluxe LipSurgence  lip creme in Flashy. Not shown; I completely forgot to take a picture of them. I was just too excited for the palettes.

The love the color selection for this palette, very neutral and for everyday wear. But after swatching these, I was so disappointed! I felt like they cut some corners and lower the qualities of these shadows just so they could have something for the holidays. When swatching the shadows, I had to go over them multiple times just to build up the pigmentation.

This palette had the worst pigmentation out of all three. I tried building it up as much as I could, but even then it’s still not that pigmented.
But overall you can see that some shadows can be built up, but it just took a lot of work. Also these shadows are best with a brush, not fingers! For some reason when I was swatching them, the shadows just adhere to my fingers and didn’t transfer to my arms.

RECAP:
-Great packaging
-Travel Friendly
-Nice blushes
-Soft shadows
-Bad pigmentation
-Buildable, but takes a lot of work
-Longevity: Short, fading around 2-3 hours w/primer

Overall: For $49, I was expecting higher quality shadows. I was so disappointed with the palette that I had to return it. I hate returning makeup but this palette had to go back. I knew I would never reach for it. So skip this palette and go with the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes or the Stila Eyes are the Windows eyeshadow palettes for the exact same price.
