The packaging is cute and simple, a little on the cheap side, but it’s okay. It comes with 6 blushes. All of them were smooth and pigmented. The only thing is that, I don’t feel like these are unique shades. They are very dupe-able.
Close up of the shades.
Please keep in mind these blushes are tiny!! It’s exactly the same size as the Prestige Total Intensity single shadows (0.07oz or 2.0g).
I also used NYX Prismatic single eyeshadow as reference for those who don’t own any Prestige.
A deluxe sampler of the Gwen Stefani Lipsticks was also included.
Left to right: Blonde, Bathwater, Skimp, Steady, Punk, Baby, Anaheim, Stark, Zone, & Serious.
Left to right: Pop, Harajuku, Danger, 1987, & Blackout.
I haven’t tried all of the shadows yet but for the ones I have, they are really soft, smooth, blendable, buildable, and pigmented. The only two shadows I don’t really care for in this palette is Pop and Harajuku. I felt like those were rougher in texture and weren’t as pigmented. But you can definitely build them up. Overall, I’m really loving this palette.
Soap & Glory recently came out with their brand new eyeshadow palette, The Perfect Ten for only $22 at Ulta. It was fairly cheap, so I decided to give it a try… and boy do I regret buying this. Right when I saw the packaging and held it in my hands, I knew it was cheap packaging. The packing is like those High Def. Color palettes from La Girl. It was just cardboard. But it’s okay, the product is what’s important.
The color choices looked nice, the eyeshadows felt smooth… but the pigmentation was horrible! I had to really build these up. Each one took 3-4 swipes. It doesn’t look too bad once built up, but it just took too much work to get there. The quality is very cheap. It’s comparable to Makeup Revolution, where they use a lot of filler in their products so it can be very powdery, flaky, and washed out colors. If you like Makeup Revolution then give this a try. If you’re used to high end quality, then you will hate this palette.
Overall: A complete Miss!! This palette is going back to Ulta.
